Rock Crystal, also known as Clear Quartz, belongs to the quartz family.

It has a rhombohedral crystal system and is composed primarily of silicon dioxide. It's one of the most abundant minerals on our planet, making up 12% of the Earth's crust.

It can be transparent, like Rock Crystal, or take on colors, like Amethyst or Citrine. Its deposits are found worldwide, with giant crystals originating from places like Madagascar and Brazil.
